The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme that promotes best practice for commercial vehicle operators. Boasting over 4,600 members, FORS is gaining recognition as the transport industry’s go-to accreditation scheme.
Working in conjunction with Industry partners we can assist and advise you on the requirements for attaining or improving your FORS accreditation.
Bronze accreditation is achieved via audit and involves you, as a company, proving you have laid down procedures and processes to ensure best working practice in a multitude of areas.
Silver Accreditation takes this on to a further level, especially on the Road Safety side. There is a requirement to fit audible warning systems and additional indirect and direct vision aids.
Gold Accreditation moves things on again. To obtain this you must first maintain and then provide evidence that you have improved on the areas laid out in the Bronze and Silver categories. You must also promote FORS accreditation both up and down your supply chain.
Mackworth Vehicle Conversions are able to supply and fit a wide range of camera systems, audible warning devices and direct vision aids to your vehicles to ensure your drivers are given all the equipment they need to protect both themselves and other vulnerable road users.
